Mounting a Garmin Force on your bow
Garmin's Force and Force Kraken are brushless, quiet, and heavy on integration — and the plate's 1/2-inch 6061-T6 thickness is exactly what the Kraken's higher mounting loads call for. Force motors can ride a Minn Kota-pattern bracket (a popular setup) or Garmin's own QR plate — see the mounting notes below for which is confirmed.

Use a Minn Kota MKA-series quick-release bracket: its holes land on our tapped pattern, and Force owners widely report the MKA bracket bolts up to the Force base (a popular retrofit setup). Garmin's own Kraken quick-release plate uses a 5-11/16" x 2-5/8" bolt rectangle that does NOT match this plate's tapped holes — so plan on the Minn Kota bracket route, or contact us before ordering and we'll talk through your setup.

Do I use the plate's hardware or Garmin Force's?+
Use the 1/4-20 hardware that came with your Garmin Force mount — manufacturers spec a specific grade and length for their bracket. Add a drop of blue Loctite 243 to each bolt so vibration can't back it out.
What battery does a Garmin Force motor need?+
